Email Notification Upgrades

One of the areas that we get the most comments about is how to better manage the emails coming from bigWebDesk. This past weekend we upgraded the email preferences section to give you better control of when you are notified of events within your tickets.
You now have full control of when you want to receive an email notice (as a standard user and as a technician) throughout the many events in a ticket. See the list of events at the end of this post.
To view and edit your personal notification rules, you can access this from the home screen. Next to your name in the greeting, click on "Update Profile." Once on the update profile page, click the link for "Edit My Notification Rules" to access the ticket events.
If you are a technician/administrator, you will have two areas to set your rules. One for tickets where you are the customer. The other where you are the assigned technician.
