The Butterfly Wing Metaphor

Something as small as the flutter of a butterfly's wings can ultimately cause a typhoon halfway around the world.
I always liked this metaphor because it represents no matter how insignificant something may appear it is still a part of a larger idea. Changes at this level are simple, easier, and maybe less noticeable, but eventually it will create an enormous ripple effect which will be seen by everyone. Cause and Effect.
thnaks thsi is a great metaphor, i am in recovery and it really aplies to the the smallest changes have a trickle effect a nd changes lives.
thanks this is a great metaphori truly enjoyed it. I am in a 12 step program and this really aplies to my recovery process, because if i make the smallest steps of prgress or changes in behavior It has a trickle effect on my fammily and my life and truly changes lives.
